Shaykh Junaid Khurasany was born in Durban, South Africa in 1975. After completing his basic Islamic education in his hometown, he enrolled at the famous Madrasa Arabia Islamiyya Azaadville in Johannesburg, South Africa. He graduated in 1996 with Ijaza in Hadeeth and Tafseer.
He began his teaching career at Jamia Islahul Muslimeen in South Africa. The Shaykh has taught Arabic, tafseer, and Hadith.
Presently, he serves as director of Masjid Jamatul Islam in Inglewood, CA and has established a Quranic seminary named "Riyadhul Uloom" in Torrance, CA.
