It is generally recognized that the best and the most powerful poetry of Allama Iqbal was in Farsi. Now Syed Ahmed Isar of Banglore, India has provided a great literary service by translating all of them in Urdu poetry. In doing that he has chosen the same meter for the Urdu version as was chosen by Allama Iqbal for the original Farsi poem.
