This is a unique book in Hanafi fiqh, which collects rulings about unusual or rare circumstances. It is a commentary of a poem written by Allamah ibn al-Shihnah, called Qayd al-Sharaa'id wa Nadhm al-Faraaid (قيد الشرائد ونظم الفرائد) , consisting of 1021 lines. The author of the poem had written a commentary himself, which Imam al-Shurunbulali then abridged and added some of his own explanations and commentary.
Goes through the various chapters of fiqh from taharah (purification) to faraaid (rules of inheritance), and presents the gharaa'ib in each chapter of fiqh in couplet form with explanations of the lines under them. Will delight advanced students of fiqh.
